"The work that I did with Christine completely opened my eyes to my potential and also to what I could get out there and do. I developed a real insight into what I need in a role and in my life, and started exploring new opportunities - not just within the work environment."

During our first free 30 min chat, I will find out about what you want from coaching, and send you some exercises to prepare for our sessions. We will also agree whether you want to meet weekly, monthly or whatever, and book the sessions.

When you have done the pre-work for each session, email it to me ahead of time.

By phone or face-to-face

For each session, you phone or arrive at the agreed time and we work with what emerges from your pre-work. We agree during the session what the work for next time will be, which will arise out of our discussion.

My role is to ask questions to challenge to and get you to think more deeply. Your role is to be willing to explore, face difficult areas and to let me know if a direction we are taking is not working for you.

By email and IM

Having done any pre-work, you come back to me by the agreed date with key points drawn from the pre work. I will respond with insights and further questions to take things further, plus the next stage of pre-work. You can ask questions for clarification by email or IM.

How long does it take?

Coaching is specific to the particular goal or vision you bring, and is usually for a period of weeks or months. Short terms goals have a clear end-point, whereas longer term visions may lead you to choose ongoing support.

Generally coaching will start with perhaps 4 - 6 sessions, and we then evaluate from there how to continue. Some clients choose to meet for an hour or more per fortnight, others for less time or more often - all this is open to discussion.

If you are intrigued but unsure, contact me for a free sample session so you can get a flavour of what coaching is like before you make your decision.
